Hello, Neighbor! I’m Steve Coelho, the owner of Evergreen. I grew up in Massachusetts, and now proudly call beautiful Hanover home, where I’m raising my family—two daughters and two golden retrievers—who keep life fun and busy.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family, out coaching soccer or attending a Richmond Kickers home game at City Stadium. 

What I love most about the Richmond area is how unique and special each neighborhood is—from The Fan to Tuckahoe, the West End to Bellevue. Every community has its own unmistakable charm, and that’s what makes this region so special.

Hello, Neighbor! I have called the Richmond area home since 2000, after having lived in Shockoe Bottom, Tuckahoe, and the West End. Here in the beautiful Hanover County, I am raising two wonderful daughters alongside two very energetic golden retrievers who keep life lively.

At Evergreen, I provide business strategy, manage company finances, and helps ensure the business runs smoothly and sustainably. I obtained my degree in Accountancy from Old Dominion University and soon after became a Certified Public Accountant.

When I'm not working, I enjoy walking my Goldens and spending quality time with my family. Over time I have learned a lot about how to build a successful business—one that truly cares for its clients and community. That is exactly what we strive for here at Evergreen, to care for our clients, our neighbors.

Hello, Neighbor! I joined the Evergreen Team after I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Geography at James Madison University. Go Dukes! 

My concentration was in Environmental Conservation, Sustainability, and Development, along with Climate Sciences. Needless to say, I love studying the Earth! 

 At Evergreen, I enjoy working on the marketing, the Evergreen Energy Rebate Program, and customer service. I truly enjoy contacting and connecting with our customers, especially when I can offer help with their HVAC services and comfort plans. Hello, Neighbor! I am originally from Washington State near the Canadian border, and I now proudly call Montpelier home. I grew up loving the outdoors, fishing for northern pike in Minnesota, and hiking Mount Rainier. When I'm not working, you can find me spending time with my family, fishing at Lake Anna, or being active in my church. Fun fact about me, I am bilingual — English and Russian!

Hello, Neighbor! I’m excited to be part of the Evergreen Team! I’ve been working as an HVAC Intern during my breaks from Virginia Tech, where I am currently studying Mechanical Engineering. 

Hello, Neighbor! I joined the Evergreen Team as a student in the Trades Program at Hanover High School. I have multiple national electrical safety certifications and I am studying to become both an electrician and an HVAC technician.
